The Fairfax County Police Department is investigating the stabbing of a mom and dad by their 25-year-old son.
Rehan Khan (25) was arrested Wednesday morning after stabbing both of his parents. Initially one of the injuries was believed to be life-threatening, but they are both recovering at the hospital with non-critical injuries. Investigation show that the stabbings began after an argument between Khan and his parents. Khan fled the scene by car, but was caught shortly after. Khan is being charged with a felony of malicious wounding.
“There was an argument that took place and then he the suspect left the residence and was caught soon there after. He is charged with malicious wounding, it’s a class 3 felony, punishable by 5 to 20 years imprisonment, fine of up to $100,000,” said Sgt. Greg Bedor, Fairfax County Police.
Khan is being held at the County’s detention center with no bond.
