Montgomery County’s school district is upgrading its mobile app for the fall to provide updates and information more efficiently.
Among its capabilities, the app allows users to access the district directory, view lunch menus and customize what information is displayed based on personal interest.
Those who download the app will have the option to receive push notifications on their phone to notify them of important news, like emergency closures and delays.
“We know that parents want an easy way to find out, ‘How’s my child doing in school? Can I quickly access their grades? Can I see what their attendance records are?’ I think the main point of this app is to ensure that parents can do just that,” Spokesperson, MCPS, Gboyinde Onijala, said.
The MCPS Mobile App is available on Amazon, Google Play and the App Store.
