A Frederick man who was stabbed early Monday morning on the 300-block of North Market Street has died from his injuries.
Brian Graves, 36, passed away on Tuesday at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Hospital in Baltimore.
Police said the call came in just after 1:30 a.m. on Monday, after a reported fight in the area of the Olde Town Tavern. When officers arrived, they found Graves with injuries from an apparent stabbing. After he was transported to Baltimore, they closed North Market Street for several hours while they investigated the scene.
Officers are still looking for the suspect, in what is now a homicide investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 301-600-6219, or 301-600-TIPS.
