UPDATE: Driver killed in I-81 tractor trailer crash in Franklin County has been identified

Pennsylvania State Police have released the name of the driver, who was killed in a tractor trailer accident on I-81 in Franklin County on Thursday night.

Police say the driver’s name was William Golladay of Mount Jackson, Virginia and that he died on the scene.

Troopers say it happened around 6 p.m. at the 19-mile marker in the southbound lanes, between the exits for Walker Road and Scotland.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, the Golladay lost control for unknown reasons and rolled over, striking the guardrail.

The tractor trailer fire shut down interstate-81 on Thursday night, and into Friday morning.

State Police say the crash is still under investigation.
