Three suspects were in court Friday in connection to a home invasion in Hedgesville where a 76-year-old man was severely beaten.
Ryan Henson and Jonathan Physioc have been charged with burglary, first-degree robbery and malicious assault for allegedly breaking into Robert Basore’s home, beating him and stealing a rifle and cash.
Robert’s granddaughter, Sherry Basore, was also in court today. She has been charged with conspiracy.
According to West Virginia statutes, Henson and Physioc could be sentenced to a minimum of 13 years in jail if convicted on all charges, while Sherry Basore is facing one to five years in prison for conspiracy.
Closing arguments for the case could begin as soon as Monday.
