Three-alarm fire involving multiple structures leaves six without a place to live


The Winchester Fire Department responded to a three-alarm fire on Cork St. just after 11 p.m. Thursday.

They say this fire involved multiple buildings, including one residential structure.

No injuries were reported, but fire officials with say six people are without a home.  Fire crews say they even rescued a man from a balcony.

The Red Cross has been called in to assist.

They say it took crews about 45 minutes to get the flames under control.

The local fire marshal is investigating.
