The city of Strasburg is bringI a love statue to the city

The city of Strasburg is bringing a love statue to the city, but just can’t decide where the love should go.

The town of Strasburg, the Staufferstadt Artist Residency and Virginia Tourism all teamed up to bring a large 3D love statue. It will stand about 6 feet tall and be about 16 feet long.

The city is looking to place for the new statue either in the downtown area right next to town hall where the city is currently working on creating an event space or at the gateway to the Shenandoah visitor center on Old Valley Pike.

But, they want the public to decide by filling out a survey. The city of Strasburg has had a long history with ceramics and are asking the community to donate any pottery so that they can incorporate it in the 3D love statue.

The survey will be open until March 17 and if anyone would like to donate ceramics, they are welcome to drop them off at the town hall on 174 E. King Street.

You can find the survey at www.strasburgva.com or at svy.mk/2ko8EYq.
