Suspect arrested for impersonating a police officer in stolen vehicle

On Friday evening, police arrested the suspect accused of impersonating a police officer in a stolen vehicle.

Tyson Rascher was arrested by Fairfax County Police and charged for the stolen vehicle.

Detectives with Prince William Police added additional charges for impersonating an officer and eluding police.

According to reports, Rascher was driving a stolen Chevrolet Silverado with blue flashing lights and identified himself as an off-duty police officer.

Rascher attempted to pull a car over in the area of Prince William Parkway and Reids Prospect Drive in Woodbridge on June 18th.

Rascher is being held without bond.

His court date is set for July 20th.
