The Hagerstown Regional Airport is upgrading some security systems at the airport.
The airport has an approximately $150,000 project in place to upgrade security cameras.
The Hagerstown Regional Airport received $112,000 grant from Maryland Aviation Administration, and about $37,000 from the county to upgrade their camera systems on the north side of the airfield.
They currently have some outdated wireless equipment, but with the funds, the airport can bring the security systems up to date.
The airport is getting started on the project right away and expects it to be a one or two-month long project.
