School rivalries trigger vandalism at two MoCo schools

News

High school rivalries taken too far could result in punishment from the school and police department.

Montgomery County Police and school officials say there was graffiti sprayed all over school grounds at Winston Churchill High School in Potomac and Walter Johnson High School in Bethesda.

The progression of vandalism at the two schools was triggered by a school rivalry.

The vandalism contained markings of both schools’ initials and other very inappropriate graffiti.

Principals Baker and Benz are asking students and parents to come forward with any information.
