Protest held outside of social services office in Berryville

A handful of protestors gathered on Monday in Berryville to protest children being removed from their homes.

Protestors waved and held signs outside of the social services office in Berryville.

Organizers said they have been holding demonstrations all week outside of the town’s courthouse.

Michael Lorenzo, one of the protesters, said that something must be done.

“Social services do very good things for many people,” Lorenzo said. “But when it comes to removing children from homes, it has gotten to point where children do not have to be abused.”
