Police: Two reports of shots fired in Waynesboro, Pa.

Officers with the Waynesboro Police Department are investigating multiple reports of shots fired on two separate occasions on Wednesday.

Police responded to 27 East Main Street just before 4:30pm, for a fight involving nearly 30 people. Witnesses say shots were fired during that fight, however no injuries have been reported.

Witnesses described the suspected shooters as two black males. They say one of the subjects had dreadlocks.

Evidence of a gun being fired was found at the scene. Police say the gun was fired and they fled the scene.

Just before 9pm, officers responded to another report of shots fired. It happened on the 100 block of South Potomac Street.

The victim says a white and black male approached him, in his backyard. As the victim fled several shots were fired.

Police say the suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction.

No guns were recovered in either incident. Police say both, remain under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Waynesboro Police Department at 717-762-2131.
