FREDERICK COUNTY, Md. (WDVM) — Update: The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office arrested two suspects in connection with a car that had been reported stolen for at least three weeks.
One of the suspects was identified by the sheriff’s office as Ja’Von Bey, 18 of Walkersville who was arrested outside a residence in the 8500 block of Discovery Boulevard. He confessed to driving the car and fleeing on foot. The sheriff’s office said Bey has active arrest warrants for other incidents.
A Frederick County Sheriff’s Deputy observed the car driving west on Schifferstadt Boulevard around 7:40 a.m. and determined it was stolen after confirming registration, the sheriff’s office said.
