Pennsylvania set to expand digital gambling

Residents in the Chambersburg, Greencastle and Mercersburg area may be able to gamble while filling their tanks at the gas station.

State officials are set to install video game technology in Rutter’s and travel stops across the state. Although this plan of action could be taking place, some residents are not happy with the plan and say this will only bring trouble.

“I have a brother-in-law that got into gambling, sold out his whole house and two houses out from underneath my sister,” said Greencastle resident Joy Manor.

According to officials, a majority of the funding that comes from the video game technology will go to the state.
