Pajama drive honors memory of Greencastle boy who passed away from cancer

Pennsylvania

An annual pajama drive honors the memory of a young Greencastle, Pennsylvania boy who died from cancer.

Those who wish to help are asked to drop off new pajamas at various participating locations such as at the John Allison Public House in Greencastle. Preferred sizes are 2-T and below and Adult and Small.

All of the donations will go toward pediatric patients at the Hershey Pediatric Center in memory of Weston Rock, hoping that the PJ’s will help make other children feel more comfortable as they fight their own battles.

“He just had a heart of gold and he passed away a few years ago with cancer and everything,” said Hostess Sue Powell.

The community has until tomorrow to drop off donations or can arrange for a pick up if necessary. For more information, check out the Facebook page, “Wishes for Weston” here
