A language center in Greencastle will soon expand.
For the first time since opening its doors in 2016, the Chatty Chameleon located on the Square in Greencastle will add French and American Sign Language. The center has primarily offered Spanish to students from preschool up to adults. In the future, owner Nicole Paci-Funk anticipates adding robotics to their list as a way to bring more culture and experiences to the area.
“Having more opportunities here is just going to allow our families in the community, in the whole Tri-State area where they can learn something that potentially they’re not getting the chance to learn in school and hopefully benefit them for the rest of their lives in school,” she said.
The classes for French and ASL will begin the Tuesday after Labor Day on September 4.
