Hollenshead trial reaches an end

Pennsylvania

Almost three years after the deaths of his wife and stepdaughter, Anthony Hollenshead has found out his fate in court.

The Hollenshead trial reached a conclusion as Anthony Hollenshead was found guilty. The jury found Hollenshead guilty on two counts of first-degree murder, in connection to the killings of his wife Laura Hollenshead and step daughter Jaedi Weed.

Back in May 5, 2015 attorneys said Hollenshead shot and killed Laura and Jaedi after he was upset about a date that Jaedi had been on that night. Among those present inside the courthouse was Pennsylvania State Police trooper Dave Clemens. Trooper Dave spoke to Anthony that night when he turned himself in. The jurors reached the verdict after several hours. Both families were there, waiting on the decision.

We reached out for reaction from Anthony Hollenshead’s attorney, but he had no comment.

Hollenshead’s sentencing is scheduled for April 3.

Hollenshead was charged with two counts of criminal homicide.
