Hollenshead trial is nearing its conclusion as both sides have finished presenting their evidence

In Fulton County, the Hollenshead trial is nearing its conclusion as both prosecutors and the defense have finished presenting their evidence.

There was not enough time on Friday for jury deliberations, and closing arguments are set to begin on Monday at 9 a.m. Anthony Hollenshead is accused of shooting and killing both his wife, Laura Hollenshead, and his stepdaughter, Jaedi Weed, in May of 2015. He is charged with two counts of criminal homicide.

“It’s hard. I mean, it’s been a long process of just having to listen to everything and go through everything again, even though we already had lived this situation in tragic in our life,” said 19-year-old Haley Weed, stepdaughter of suspect.

We reached out for comment from Hollenshead’s attorney, but he was unavailable. We will keep you updated throughout the trial.
