Eggo nutri-grain waffles recalled

Kellogg’s Eggo nutri-grain whole wheat waffles are being recalled due to the possible threat of Listeria monocytogenes contamination. 

All Kellogg’s Eggo Nutri-Grain Whole Wheat Waffles, 12.3 oz., 10-ct Carton, UPC 3800040370, with best before Dates of NOV 21 17 and NOV 22 17 are being removed from shelves of Giant and Martin’s stores. 

Officials said they haven’t received any reports of people getting sick from the product. 

Contaminated food consumption can lead to listeriosis, which is uncommon, but potentially fatal. 
 
Listeriosis can cause high fevers, headaches, neck stiffness and nausea. It can also lead to miscarriages, stillbirths and serious infections in people with weakened immune systems. 
 
Anyone who purchased these products at a Giant or Martin’s location will receive a full refund with their receipt.
