Chambersburg police are asking for public’s help in identifying a suspect after a fire

Chambersburg police are asking for the publics help in identifying a suspect after a fire in Chambersburg. Investigators say, the fire was intentionally set on South Fourth Street Friday night. The suspect was observed using two bottles of lighter fluid to douse the wooden ramp and start the fire. 

According to the home owner, there was minimal damage in the back of the home on a ramp that leads to the back door.

Chambersburg police released this photo of a person of interest. Police say he may not necessarily be the suspect. No injuries were reported and anyone with information is asked to call police.
