Drivers in Washington County can expect a smoother ride in the coming months.
The Washington County Division of Engineering and Construction Management are beginning Spring Pavement projects this week.
They will be paving nearly 64 miles of road.
Division of Engineering and Construction Project Manager Blair Reynolds said the paving program is cost-effective.
“The county has about 850 miles of roadway, so to be able to really impact as much of the county roadway as possible, this is the most cost effective measure for us to be able to implement,” Reynolds said.
County administrators said drivers should anticipate some delays, but all roads will remain open.
