ALEXANDRIA, Va. (WDVM) — A woman died after she was hit by a car on Richmond Highway at North Kings Highway.
Police dispatchers say the accident happened around 8 p.m. and that the southbound lanes of Richmond Highway were closed for a time, but have since reopened.
The driver remained on scene. Neither the driver nor the pedestrian have been identified yet by police.
