Ninety marijuana plants seized from Berkeley County home

West Virginia State Police troopers said a Berkeley County woman was arrested after 90 marijuana plants were seized from her home.

Troopers received a tip that a marijuana was being grown at 35 Kerns Street in the Inwood area. 

On Thursday at 5:43, troopers arrived at the residence and said they smelled marijuana. A search warrant was obtained and troopers searched the home, where they said they found 90 plants under a hydroponics operation. 

The homeowner, Jacqueline Ford, was charged with cultivation of marijuana, obstructing an officer and conspiracy. 

She is being held at the Eastern Regional Jail on a $127,500 bond.
