Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies investigating robbery at AC&T convenience store


Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating a robbery that took place at the AC&T convenience store on 16504 Virginia Avenue in Williamsport last night shortly before 8 p.m.

According to investigators, on Sunday evening, an unidentified white man entered the store and demanded money from the clerk, indicating he would shoot the employee if they did not comply. 

The suspect was able to flee the store with an undisclosed amount of money. There were no reported injuries. 

Sheriff’s deputies say the man was wearing a camouflage style hat, dark colored sunglasses, dark colored jacket, jeans, white tennis shoe, gloves and that he had a mask covering his face from the nose down.
