Maryland Attorney General, Brian Frosh is announcing a lawsuit with the Washington County Board of Education against Prince George’s County-based construction contractors.
Documents allege that in 2016, J&K Contracting falsely claimed to have paid minority businesses in order to win a bid to fix roofs on Boonsboro Middle and Fountain Rock Elementary schools. The state is now asking for more than $382,000 in restitution and penalties from the company.
