Two trauma practices open in Washington County

Keep exploring yourself and unlocking resilience

HAGERSTOWN, Md. - Washington County is welcoming two new companies, named Keep Exploring Yourself and Unlocking Resilience to North Mulberry street.

Both companies are individual therapy practices providing trauma treatment for children, families and community systems Wednesday afternoon. Owners Danielle Hudak and Jennifer Canby said they saw a shortage of specialized trauma clinicians in Washington County and wanted to help serve.

"I believe that our county can do a lot of great things and so I'm here to provide them because Washington County is a part of who I am," said Hudak.

"To have a place within the county where it can be a specialized hub of trauma services so that every child and youth and family and professional, even working professional, will have a place to go when they experience a traumatic event."

City Council Member Emily Keller cut the ribbon welcoming Keep Exploring Yourself and Unlocking Resilience to Washington County.
