Suspected shooter identified for shots fired in Hagerstown

The shocking sounds of gunshots shook a Hagerstown neighborhood near Scarlet Oak Drive last Friday.
Police are charging 32-year-old Samuel Woods Jr. for allegedly shooting into a home.

Witnesses identified Woods after he went to confront another male, kicked down the back door and allegedly shot into the building.

Woods has been charged with reckless endangerment, illegal possession of a regulated firearm by a convicted felon and third-degree burglary. 

Woods is currently being held at the Washington County Detention Center without bond.
