Suspect identified in Hagerstown fatal stabbing

Hagerstown Police tells us that the fatal stabbing victim from early Thursday morning has been identified as 23-year-old Justin Darnell Green.

Officers arrived on scene at 625 George Street to find Green with life threatening stab wounds, they arrested their suspect, Brandon Alexander Lewis, 29, who also lived with Green.

Hagerstown Police found that the two men had an argument over a woman, which ended up turning physical, which led to Lewis using a knife to murder Green.

Officer Heather Aleshire says Green was stabbed multiple times, and that Lewis is being charged accordingly. 

“Mr. Lewis will be charged with first and second degree murder, manslaughter, first and second degree assault, reckless endangerment, and deadly weapon in commission of a crime,” said Aleshire. 

Lewis was taken to the Washington County Detention Center.
