Police investigating an armed robbery in Woodbridge involving a marijuana transaction

Police are investigating an armed robbery in Woodbridge after a marijuana deal gone bad.

Prince William County Police say on March 19 around 9 p.m., officers responded to the 14400 block of Gideon Drive in Woodbridge. The investigation revealed that Hanadi Hindiyeh showed a knife and took the marijuana from a 16-year-old female during a drug transaction. The victim attempted to retrieve the marijuana where she was dragged a short distance causing minor injuries.
 
Following the investigation, officers charged Hindiyeh with armed robbery. Hindiyeh eventually turned herself in to police. Officials say additional charges may be pending.
