Man sentenced following Hagerstown murder

Jack Phillips Jr. will serve life without parole following his hearing on Wednesday. 
Phillips was found guilty of stabbing Suzanne “Star” Jones October 17, 2017 16 times at 382 South Cleveland Avenue near Municipal Stadium.

The jury found Phillips guilty on seven charges including, first-degree murder, second-degree murder, armed robbery, robbery, first-degree assault and second-degree assault Nov. 2018.
