Man on trial for murder of Hagerstown woman


A man is on trial for the first-degree murder of a Hagerstown woman that occurred on October 17, 2017.

Jack Phillips Jr., 34, appeared at the Circuit Court of Washington County for allegedly stabbing Suzanne Jones, 42, 16 times on 382 S. Cleveland Ave.

The witnesses that were brought to the stand included Edward Musser, who called authorities when he witnessed the incident, Daniel Fitzgerald of Gideon Properties LLC., who provided the security footage to the police, and Detective Duffy of the Hagerstown Police Department who worked on the case.
