The Kisseman children’s foundation is celebrating their 5th annual egg hunt. More than 200 families and friends gathered at St. James School, in Hagerstown for the Easter weekend event.
There was music, face painting and magic shows. There was even a special apperance from the Easter Bunny to help kids search for the hidden eggs. Event coordinators say, over 4,000 eggs were hidden across the school grounds.
Each participant received a special gift from Ghana for collecting the eggs. “Our organization in Ghana, we focus on school supplies, scholarships for students to attend school, and after school lessons for kids there. Every family that comes, gets a handmade basket from Ghana to take home with them,” Erin Ruff said, the Executive Director for Kisseman Foundation. All the proceeds from this event go towards children’s education in Ghana.
