Reach of Washington County partnered with other local agencies to offer free financial classes.
Educators say, the classes will be about daily money management, how to open up a bank account and more. The program is going on year two of a three year grant.
The Reach Program is also teaming up with the Washington County Free Library, where the classes will be held on Tuesday nights starting in February.
Kelli Tencer, the financial stability program director for Reach of Washington County say, she has seen many success stories from this program and she’s honored to be a part of it.
“I am humbled that I am able to help someone along the way, we all have a calling and this is definitely — I have been called to. It’s a form of ministry for me,” Tencer said.
The classes start February 12. To sign up or get more information you can contact Kelli Tencer at 301-733-2371 extension 107.
