On March 13th, officers from the Hagerstown City Police Department conducted an undercover operation targeting individuals for prostitution.
Their goal was to target those involved in street-level and internet-advertisement prostitution and solicitation for prostitution. The operation resulted in the arrest of the following individuals:
1. 30-year-old Cordessa Ray Monroy-Romero of Percy, Illinois- Charged with Prostitution General-Assignation
2. 59-year-old George Edward Worthman of Hagerstown, MD-Charged with Prostitution General-Assignation
3. 54-year-old William Leonard Bean of Hagerstown, MD-Charged with Prostitution General-Assignation and CDS Possession-Not Marijuana
4. 47-year-old Tony Alan Shumaker of Martinsburg, WV-Charged with Prostitution General-Assignation
