Firefighters investigate reported explosion

Firefighters in Fairplay were investigating a reported explosion following multiple 911 calls. 

Washington County Dispatchers said some residents felt their homes shake. 

The call came in around 5:30 p.m. and the investigation by firefighters in Fairplay and Williamsport wrapped up around 8 p.m.

Dispatchers said firefighters found no evidence of an explosion so far.
