Washington County is asking residents to fill out the online citizens storm water and watershed survey.
Washington County residents have until April 30 to complete this survey, which asks those living in the county to rate the water quality and identify water pollution in their area.
Officials are taking the results of the survey to look at areas within the county that can be improved as part of the clean county initiative.
“The results of the survey are going to guide our priorities. Obviously, there’s a limited budget and limited resources for the types of projects we can do,” said Alex Reed, Washington County Watershed Specialist.
The survey also gauges the public education and outreach programs in the county to make residents more aware of the educational resources available to them.
