16th annual “Art in Bloom” brings garden and art lovers together

The 16th annual “Art in Bloom” brought garden and art lovers together.
Gardeners from various counties in Maryland made all natural floral arrangements inspired by works of art at the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts. The event is part of an effort to bring the community together to see what the museum has to offer as well as raise funds for the museum. This year the museum has raised over $19,000 for the museum’s programs.
“Some of them take an hour or two to put their stuff together. They put so much detail work in it that it’s amazing,” said Wallace Lee, Development Director at the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts.
The museum’s host for the weekend is the Hagerstown Garden Club.
