Interstate-81 reopens in Franklin County after tractor trailer crash

Interstate-81 in Franklin County was briefly shut down on Monday evening, after a tractor trailer accident near Greencastle.

According to emergency dispatchers, the crash happened at about 5:15 p.m., and the vehicle was then stuck in the median. No one was hurt in the accident, but fire police were diverting traffic from the southbound lanes of I-81 to Route 11.

Authorities reopened those lanes to traffic just before 6:30 p.m.
