Trial begins for double-homicide in Frederick County


Attorneys pored over potential jurors as the trial began for a New York man who faces two charges of first-degree murder in Frederick County, Maryland.

According to the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office, Delajhi Joyner, 25, was arrested in November of 2017 for assaulting and running over two Frederick County, Maryland residents at Acacia Court.

Upon arrival, emergency medical personnel found the bodies of Jermaine Hill, 19, and Shondre Naylor, 37, lying on the road.

The State’s Attorney’s Office expects the trial to last two weeks.
