Police are investigating reports of a man who was shot in his thigh in Frederick on Friday.
The man showed up at the Frederick Memorial Hospital with a gunshot wound. The hospital reported the incident to police.
After further investigation, police learned that the incident occurred near the 200 block of Appleton Place.
According to police, several witnesses on the scene confirmed hearing gunfire, but the incident was not immediately reported to police.
Police say that witnesses saw two possible suspects flee the scene on foot.
Frederick law enforcement is asking that anyone with any information contact them.
