Montgomery County Police are looking for a suspect who bought over $10,000 worth of merchandise with stolen credit cards.

The credit cards may have been stolen from the victims’ vehicles while they were parked at park and recreation facilities in the areas of Derwood and Darnestown. Back in February, the suspect stole two credit cards from a car parked at Lake Needwood, and in March, the suspect stole two more credit cards from a car parked along the Seneca Ridge Trail.

Surveillance photos show the same woman using the stolen cards at stores in Germantown and Rockville. Montgomery County Police Officer, Rick Goodale, stated: “And we remind residents, again, to make sure to lock your car doors, secure all your valuables and don’t leave anything of value in plain sight.”

Police are asking anyone with information on this theft to contact the Montgomery County Police Department.
