Mayor talks state of City of Rockville

Thursday morning, residents got an update on the state of the City of Rockville. 

Mayor Bridget Newton and City Manager Rob DiSpirito spoke to the public, in an event, put on by the Rockville Chamber of Commerce. They spoke about several projects going on, in the city, including the King Barn dairy barns restoration and work happening on Rockville Pike. 

“Economic development is a team sport. It’s not all about the government. It’s not all about the business community. It’s not all about the citizens and the shoppers. It’s about all of us pulling together. That’s what the message is today and that’s what the message has been,” said Mayor Newton.

Business owners were able to submit questions to the mayor and city manager beforehand.
