A Montgomery County man has been charged with multiple sex offense charges.
Austin Vann, 27, is charged for two incidents.
In July 2017, Vann allegedly pulled a woman into an apartment, assaulted and tried to rape her.
After the incident, Vann left the area and was arrested in California in March 2018 and was extradited back to Maryland.
He was charged with attempted first-degree rape, attempted second-degree rape, first-degree assault, second-degree assault, and a fourth-degree sex offense. He was released on bond.
Two years later, a woman met Vann in a bar and later woke up with him engaging in sexual intercourse without her consent. She did not remember leaving the bar or where they were.
Vann was arrested in March 2019 and charged with second-degree rape.
Vann is expected to appear in court later this month.
