A man accused of murdering his girlfriend is being held without bond after a hearing Friday.

Chris Myers, 39, of Jefferson, Md., waived his right to a bond review.

Myers is being charged with first-degree murder, second-degree murder, and first-degree assault.

The victim, 24-year-old Heather Williams, was reported missing on Wednesday.

She was found dead inside of a home on the 4500 block of Jefferson Pike on Thursday.

According to charging documents, Williams went over to break up with Myers. Later, Williams’ father broke down the door to find his daughter’s body lying face down in the bedroom.

Charging documents note she had been “bludgeoned by an unknown hard object.”

Myers was stopped and arrested by the Baltimore Police Department after a traffic violation.

Police recovered several items in the car that appeared to have blood stains on them.

Myers will be held at the Frederick County Adult Detention Center.
