Hagerstown man sentenced to 25 years for drug related offenses

Kevin Mullen, 25, will entered guilty pleas on Wednesday

FREDERICK, Md. - A Hagerstown man was sentenced in Frederick County, Maryland for drug related offenses.

Kevin Mullen, 25, will spend 25 years behind bars after entering guilty pleas. 

According to a news release sent out by the State's Attorney Office, deputies with the Frederick County Sheriff's Office executed a search and seizure warrant back in December in the area of Rooks Court in Frederick. When contact was made, SWAT members saw a person throw a dark object into the back bedroom where Mullen was. The item was a black high-point pistol that Mullen would admit to having as well as heroin and crack. Other items that were discovered include: black digital scale, cash, paper bindles with residue, plastic baggies with residue, a baggie containing suspected crack cocaine, a paper fold with suspected heroin inside, a cut straw with residue, an a baggie containing one Lorazepam. 

Upon his release, Mullen will be placed on supervised probation for three years.
