The study found that 88.57 percent of cases that were prosecuted ended with a conviction.
In 2017, 905 people were arrested for impaired driving in the county. 705 had positive outcomes including 174 guilty “findings.”
Smith said prosecutors remain committed to pursuing these types of cases.
