Head-on collision sends six to hospital

News
On Monday night, multiple people were hospitalized in a head-on collision last night in Washington County.

Just before 8:30 p.m., Troopers with Maryland State Police responded to National Pike, just west of Ernstville Road. They said a juvenile male, who was driving a Dodge Caravan, tried to make a left turn into a driveway and cut off a Dodge Neon, driven by 19-year-old Cody Stotler. They crashed head-on.

All three people inside the Caravan were juveniles, and they were all taken to Meritus Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Stotler was flown to Western Maryland Regional Hospital in Cumberland, while the two passengers in his car, 19-year-old Levi Keysecker and a juvenile were flown to Baltimore Shock Trauma.
