Governor Larry Hogan’s project, A Better Maryland, kicked off Monday in Garrett County.
The Maryland Department of Planning is coordinating the development plan with 24 sessions of outreach events in every county.
The aim is to get input from local government and residents on what resources and information that a better Maryland might include and to find out how to get local government and state agencies to better meet their planning needs.
Gov. Hogan said the approach aims at ensuring continued economic growth.
This is a two-year long project and will conclude in July of 2019.
