Bikers riding for Senator Joe Manchin in Berkeley County

Election West Virginia

Just a day before election day, a group of bikers made their way to Berkeley County on Monday morning to rally behind U.S. Senator Joe Manchin.

Those like Joe Gollehon have been riding along with Manchin since Sunday to push for voters and especially the younger generation to get involved and cast their ballots on Tuesday.

“It’s a privilege and I think everyone should take that privilege and take the time and go vote,” said Gollehon, a resident.

Manchin says he’s all for social security and that “what’s on the chopping block right now is healthcare.”

He added, it’s important to note the power of technology and the role it plays in connecting people and encouraging them to engage with the world to know that their voice matters.

“We’ve got to get connectivity and we’ve got to have speed and cell service everywhere. So wherever you want to live in our beautiful state, you should be connected to the world,” Manchin said.

The group will travel through Morgantown, Fairmont, and wrap up in Charleston.
