Berkeley County recieves wave of voters during early voting period

Election West Virginia

There are only four days left of early voting in West Virginia and the Berkeley County Voter Registration Office continues to encourage people to come out and vote.

As of October 29, officials say more than 5,200 people have stopped in to cast their ballots in Berkeley County’s Voter Registration Office. They expect the number to increase as early voting continues through the week.

Early voting will conclude Saturday, November 3, 2018 at which voters will then have to rely on their designated polling place to cast their votes on election day.

Berkeley County offers free 15-minute parking meters for voters. Voters are required to have a valid i.d. before casting their vote however, it doesn’t have to be a photo i.d.
